Frozen Venison Loin

D’Artagnan Cervena venison comes from a group of New Zealand ranchers who allow the Red deer to roam and feed on tall-grass pastures in a pristine environment.

Cervena is a quality assurance program that certifies that certified animals have been humanely pasture-raised on a diet of grass with only minimal supplemental feed such as hay. Animals must be less than three years old, and only in cases of extreme disease will antibiotics be administered, and if so, the animal is tracked and will follow any applicable withdrawal period before being processed.
